Welcome to Versmark
The Sovereign State of Versmark is a micronation that was founded on April 21st 2023, it declared independence on the 1st of May.
Versmark was founded by a small group of former officials from the recently dissolved Empire of Lehmark. Versmark was quickly developed into a nation in only a couple of days. The name Versmark was first proposed by Q. Wingfield, "Vers" meaning freshness or newness, and "mark" deriving from the nation's cultural predecessor.
The national colors of white and purple were made to reflect newness, unity, and the power of the Monarchy.
About Versmark
Versmark was made into a constitutional Monarchy with an elected Sovereign and dual chamber parliament. Many of the founders went on to become members of Parliament and/or Ministers of the new nation.
Wald was elected Sovereign by a unanimous decision from the nations founders. On may 1st Wald declared independence for Versmark, and organized the first House of Representatives election. The first few months were an explosion of creativity and development for Versmark, with the nation gaining new laws, policies and citizens.
