Parliament

Parliament is the legislative body of Versmark, it is a dual chamber body, with a House of Representatives and House of Lords.

The House of Representatives is the lower house and is made up of elected representatives, with elections being held over the entire nation, not by province. The House of Representatives is able to propose Legislation and then vote on it, sending passed bills to the House of Lords.

The House of Lords is the upper house and is made up of the nobles of Versmark, who are given ennoblements by the Sovereign. The House of Lords does not propose legislation, instead voting on bills sent from the House of Representatives.

Parliament elections are held every 6 months. The next election is on October 31st.
