The mission of the Versmark Ministry of Defense is to safeguard the sovereignty, security, and well-being of the nation and its citizens through the development, maintenance, and strategic application of military, intelligence, and security capabilities.

The Versmark Armed Forces is under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Defense, and is responsible for the defense of Versmark. The Versmark Armed Forces is led by the Sovereign of Versmark and the Minister of Defense.

Currently, the VAF has one branch: The Versmark Royal Legion. The VAFRL specializes in ground-based combat, as well as cyber operations and intelligence gathering.
